I'm always reading. Even when I'm not reading, I'm still reading; always replaying my favorite stories in my head, forever going on adventure after adventure in a land that is real only to a few courageous souls willing to tread the treacherously beautiful territories, available only to those willing to cross borders and fight for their friends.
I am not just a nerd or a geek. I am a Reader. I have a rare intelligence that allows me to live multiple lives at once, I read not only to escape my real life but also to create new lives and make forever friends. I fight with demigods to save the world, I suffer through Potions so I can go to Defense Against the Dark Arts, I chose Dauntless, I cried for Augustus, Always will never again be just a word, I use a tree house to travel the world and through time, I fight with Artemis to protect the LEP, I went on an adventure with Bilbo, I solve mysteries with Sherlock, and I volunteered as tribute.
Reading isn't lame or dumb or for geeks, it is for those few who want more from life, more than just dull moving pictures on the screen. You'll never meet an unintelligent or inexperienced reader. We do anything and everything (Including fighting dragons, fighting Titans, and starting revolutions against countless governments) and share these experiences with our best friends. Who says our friends can't live on paper? We carry them with us always; a reader will never be caught without a book. We bring them to life when we read, and they will forever live in our hearts.
